For nearly fifty years, Heavy Metal has pushed the boundaries of imagination - shaping fantasy, sci-fi and horror to become the World’s Greatest Illustrated Magazine for generations. Now we’re launching the Heavy Metal Library, a permanent line of beautifully produced and highly curated hardcovers that bring together the stories, creators, and artwork that continues to define Heavy Metal.

We are starting with three genre defining works and an anthology art collection -  the boundary-breaking RanXerox, a punk-fuelled vision of cybernetic rebellion; Segments, a stunning fusion of philosophy and science-fiction art; Druuna, Paolo Serpieri’s sensual masterpiece of beauty and apocalypse; and our very own Art Book, The Covers That Led Us Here, a monumental celebration of five decades of visionary cover art.  

Each title debuts here in two formats. The first as a Kickstarter Exclusive Edition, AVAILABLE ONLY FOR THE FIRST 72HRS OF THIS CAMPAIGN, each with a stunning, never-to-be reprinted variant cover as a one-time collectible. The second, our Library Editions, are still archival with hardcovers that will form the ongoing Library line, with three new volumes planned each year.
