Maybe we’ve got blacklight on the brain with all the Lord of Light hoopla, but Alex Markow‘s photo series “Lost in Infinity Split” caught our eye and would not let go. It’s a photo project laid overtop an art installation; what’s more it has models splattered with body paint looking like cosmic goddesses lounging among the stars and planets. This could be classic Heavy Metal cover art. But it’s not.
“Lost In Infinity Split is a collaboration between myself and artist Magnus Sodamin,” says Markow in a post at BoredPanda. “The body painted women, covered in fluorescent paint, blend with the environment under the black lights. In some images the women appear to melt into the illusion of space. The images challenge your perspective and delight with color.”
Here are some shots of “Infinity Split” as it was created and presented by Magnus Sodamin at Primary Projects in Miami.
