Kudos to Bleeding Cool for this one—director John Carpenter actually responding to an anguished fan’s concern over the planned remake of Big Trouble in Little China with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It’s a grand total of five sentences (and one of them is “I’m doing fine”):

“20th Century Fox owns the rights. I only know what I read in the papers. I am not involved with it. I’m doing fine. I didn’t write the original one—no harm, no foul.”
