OBJECTIVE:
TROUBLED MINDS is a series of surreal photographic images depicting some of the most prolific mental disorders and afflictions. What makes this project different is instead of relying on a spokesperson or being cliché, we developed surreal images that depict the nature and severity of each disease, often viewed from the public’s perspective. The question we ask viewers is: Can you imagine being unplugged? You can view the video on YouTube. Look under “Troubled Minds by Richard Desmarais” or log onto Clive Branson’s Facebook page for the link.

    • Thank you, Frank. Sorry for my delay in responding, but I only checked the site, today. It was an interesting project that received a great response from the general public, though the psychiatric departments at the Royal Ottawa Hospital thought it too negative. I think they missed the point. I hope to do more work like this in the near future. Once again, thank you for your support.
