The live-action movie Attack on Titan, based on the hugely popular Japanese manga of the same name, is due in theaters (in Japan) on August 1. That’s when the first part premieres, anyway; part 2 comes out September 19. This is useful information if you’re in Japan.
We don’t know when exactly Attack on Titan will reach theaters outside of Japan, but we do know we want to see it. The story of people-eating giants, walled away for a century, returning to torment (i.e., eat) the humans is a compelling plot, and the visuals look pretty damn scary. Here’s the trailer:

Those clips aren’t new, what’s new is a batch of stills (below) featuring the human actors. Looks like some decent drama, characters, and sets, sure—but really, give us more monsters. (Tip: GeekxGirls)
