Dave Mustaine Discusses ‘Megadeth: Death by Design’ [Video]

Mustaine on Megadeth Death by Design

We hope you’ve heard about the 350-page graphic anthology Megadeth: Death by Design, an interpretation of 35 of the thrash-metal group’s classic tunes. We put this together with the guidance of the band themselves, and collaborators include over 100 of the best comics writers and artists working today. There is so much to unpack with this thing, and there’s nobody you’d rather hear from than Megadeth frontman Dave Mustaine himself. In a series of videos, Mustaine will be giving his “making of” insight into this project, story by story.

See it in the Heavy Metal Shop: Megadeth: Death by Design standard edition and Megadeth: Death by Design deluxe edition.

Here are the first four, we’ll be updating you periodically as new clips are released:

Dave Mustaine of Megadeth on “Rattlehead,” adapted by Dan Fogler & Andy Belanger

Dave Mustaine of Megadeth on “Mechanix,” adapted by Ben Meares & DAF

Dave Mustaine of Megadeth on “Set the World Afire,” adapted by Diego Agrimbau & Agustín Alessio

Dave Mustaine of Megadeth on “The Conjuring,” adapted by Llexi Leon & Kevin West
