WHAT'S
ON MY BRAIN: Sunday, November 27, 2005
Hey Guys,
I hope you are all doing great, and that you had a great Thanks Giving
Holiday. Mine was fine…the little woman booked us for three stops
in the same day for turkey and visiting--think I'm pretty well all set
till next year. Heh.
I'm currently busier than I've ever been, got four MAJOR projects going
right now, three of which I'll tell you about in future installments,
the other I'll let you in on right now...the live action "Fistful
of Blood" film has been green lit and is scheduled to shoot February
first. The team I put together to do it is in full pre-production, and
looking killer. I will direct the picture. I'll put up a banner/link
on the home page this week with allot more details, and we'll shortly
have a direct FOB channel here on MetalTV. com for you to see the weekly/bi-weekly
progress, as well as a chance to win a walk on part in the film (if
I can work out all the details).
For this week’s selection of nutty photo's I kept it pretty simple
as my desk is piled high with a ton of other work I'm already a week
(plus) late on. |
The
first three are the costumes Julie, Lizzy, and I put together for the
Playboy Mansion Halloween Party last month. I went as a "Planet of
the Apes Pimp"--which mainly scared allot of people because they
thought I was Michael Jackson. Fun party, regardless.
All the rest of the images are all from the back yard--snap shots Julie
took over the summer…thought as we all get ready for the cold winter
months to come, it would be warming to look back at the warmer months. |
|
|
First
up is something that feel off a tree one day…had to get a shot if
it because it looks like something out of the "Invasion of the Body
Snatchers!" Cool.
|

Next is an ear of corn that looks like something you'd find in a "Sex
Shop!" Don't think I really need to add any more comments here.
|

Julie found this Dead Dried Dragon Fly Thingy near the front door and
had me hold it up so she could get good shot of it. Maybe it came out
of the alien thing that fell off the tree?
|
Sir
Reginald Grasshopper I so named him! This guy hung around the backyard
for ages until he got tired of the dogs running all over the place and
called it a day--moved on to greener pastures. |

Here's the parting shot of "Ol' Reggie" at sunset the day he
left. Hoping to get a letter or card soon to hear how he's making out.
(I'll keep you posted). |
What
did show up a few days later is this bastard. I have no fricking clue
WHAT it is, some kinda mutant bee or something. All I know is when it
showed up all the birds left. It chilled on a few different plants for
a few days then took off--looking for Reggie I'm guessing. |
This
year Julie made a garden around the side of the house…there were
lots of cool things planted, most of which a few months later looked amazingly
like "weeds" months later--but then she found one of them grew
peppers! Although they looked normal, I was still so freaked out about
the "Body Snatchers" pod thing that just "arrived"
one day in the middle of the yard, I wasn't going near these…they
could've been "Face Huggers" disguised like innocent peppers…
|
I
love this shot--makes me think our back yard is like a chunk of Hawaii…peaceful.
Great to chill, and a blast for the dogs to tear around in. Add the two
up, and it's basically beautiful, but you gotta be careful where you step--especially
in bare feet.
|
Here's
yours truly, "Captain Fat Bastard" caught sneaking a smoke while
Felina makes sure the mutant black bee isn't hiding under the chair. |
Last
up is Scout showing off her swimming skills, which is pretty much getting
on the top step, biting the water a few times, and then running around
the yard like she just kicked some bigger dogs ass. |
|
Okay, I'm outta here, loads more cool news next week--and keep your
eye on the weekly news letters for all kinds of bargains for your Holiday
shopping/gifts for your favorite Metal Head!
Cool beans,
Kevin
